On June 24th, our Founder and CEO, Christina Ude, represented Reading Hamlets at the June session of the intergovernmental negotiations on the post-2015 development agenda at the United Nations, New York. The meeting was intended as an opportunity for major groups and other stakeholders to share their views on the Zero draft of the outcome document for the UN Summit to adopt the Post-2015 Development Agenda, with a particular focus on the declaration, review and follow up.
The meeting, moderated by Ambassador Macharia Kamau, said that he expected a sincere and honest engagement from all participants because it's the strong voice of member states,
major groups and NGOs.  With her fellow panelists, Christina spoke during the first segment on behalf of civil society organizations globally about the inclusion of quality education in
the Declaration. Her thematic focus was, "quality education"
